SOMATIC COACHING

The word “somatic” comes from the Greek word “soma,” which means “the body”. Our approach aims to help the body feel safe after trauma and restore belief, confidence, and strength.
Trauma can deeply impact our daily lives, leading to addictions, unconscious patterns, or a sense of hopelessness. But change is possible when we listen to and process the sensations in our body.
Our 1:1 sessions include working on trauma resolution using somatic experiencing (SE) and the compassionate enquiry approach by Gabor Mate. So that when a trigger surfaces, our bodies don’t go back to the same state as when the trauma took place. This approach involves gently exploring the roots of your responses to life’s challenges, uncovering suppressed emotions, and reconnecting with your authentic self—a whole, peaceful, and unbroken essence—while fostering understanding, healing, and personal freedom.
