ABOUT HAYAYASMEEN

Born and raised in Palestine, I’ve always had pride in my roots. Yet, leaving home to pursue my dreams and returning later brought a deep awareness of the pain, injustice, and suffocation I felt growing up. Despite my efforts to amplify our voices—through theatre, storytelling, and a travel show—I often battled feelings of unworthiness, stress, anxiety, and unresolved trauma that manifested in my body and mind.

It wasn’t until I faced a life-altering traumatic experience that my healing journey began. Discovering somatic trauma therapy and the true essence of yoga transformed my life. For the first time, I felt seen, understood, and safe in my own body. I learned that my emotions weren’t flaws but responses to unresolved pain, and I found gentleness and love for the parts of me I once tried to silence.

In addition, yoga showed me that it’s not a workout or a competition for flexibility, but a path to freedom—a light at the end of the tunnel that doesn’t rely on antidepressants or accepting suffering as permanent. This transformation fueled my desire to share these powerful tools with as many people as possible, so no one else has to endure the pain I once did.

This transformation fueled my passion to share these tools with others. Somatic therapy and yoga taught me that healing is possible—without suppression or medication—and that freedom and peace are within reach.

My mission is to help others discover their own path to healing and reclaim their sense of self. It would be an honour to work with you.
